Field Trips

Talk to a chapter about hosting The First Tee STEMLinks Field Guide field trips. Based on fifth grade science standards, these fun, hands-on activities engage students in a living lab while learning about water, soil, plants, and animals, the ecosystems found within golf course environments.

STEMlinks Field Guide: Learning Objectives

Students will be posed with a variety of questions and together in groups will be tasked with using their environment to come up with the answers. Every experiment consists of pre-field work to be done in the classroom along with field activities to be completed at the golf course and some post-field exercises to be completed back in the classroom to reinforce learning of key objectives.

After-school and Summer Activities

Are your students experiencing quality activities that develop their skills and their character outside of PE class? Help your students stay healthy and active over the summer months by signing up for chapter programs. For students who are interested in golf, our chapters provide affordable golf with caring mentors.
